The other day, fog rolled in midday. Thick and heavy. Muffling the sharp lines of leafless trees. Casting a velvet finish over the world. Almost jarring to see in the middle of the day, fog is usually up with the birds and creeps away after dawn. This fog settled in and made itself at home for quite a while.
There is a little magic to fog.
Gorgeous photos, Ruthie!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jenn!
DeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the quiet, meditative mood your pictures have. You changed the mood from dreary. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou have the ability to capture pure emotion with your pictures and it is sheer brilliance! I can picture myself standing right there. Your photos make me glad I'm not blind. Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, sweet friend.
DeleteFunny you should post this today.. Right after breakfast my husband turned to me and said, "I think we live in a cloud..!!" Fog and everywhere. Even tonight when we went into town I could barely see because of the stuff! It is really beautiful though. Love your pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was bizarre to me that it was in the middle of the day... and yes, I was so glad I didn't have to drive in it.
