One of my favorite parts of Fall is all the festivals. Oktoberfests, pumpkin patch festivals, and all the rest. I love them. There was a festival at one of our favorite parks last weekend, so we made sure to make time for it. The leaves were just beginning to change, and the weather was warm. Since last weekend, the leaves have changed drastically, and the colder air has moved in. So I might have to run back to the park this weekend for the dramatic tree pictures! We had a great time listening to music, drinking apple cider, and feeding the fish in the trout hatchery. And I actually brought my camera and used it, so wonders really WILL never cease! I've been so buried in opening the shop, I've had a hard time documenting life here lately.
Here's to hoping for a change in that! I am really hoping to get out of this no picture rut. This time of year can sometimes help inspire me to take my camera wherever I go, lest I miss out on a panoramic view of vibrant trees somewhere!
**Thank you, friends for all the love and support on my new shop! And some of you even ordered from me already! I appreciate more than I can say.**
Phil and I looked at these pictures last night together and we both agreed that fall is what we miss the most in our arrid climate. Those pictures you captured are just saturated with the feelings of the season we both love. And I have to tell you, there is something so lovable about a band where old men play wearing overalls. I just wanted to tap my toe to the beat! Glad to see you guys off enjoying yourselves together.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Also, Phil was smitten with B's outfit and my favorite comment of Phil's was, "Wow, Brian is like...pretty dapper, huh?" Hahahahahaha! Yes he is, Phil. You'll have to share that with him!
I am so far behind in my blogging (both reading and writing) that I unknowingly copied your post title- almost ;) Great pictures, good times, and cute family. Looks like a fun fall!
ReplyDeleteIsn't fall the best thing ever? Love our fests & patches too-- there's something so mellow & honest about them.
ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice, glad you brought the camera! ;-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! And I love your little guy's shirt. :)
ReplyDeleteYou always take beautiful photos. This is the highlight of my day!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that loves grown men in overalls? So good.
