buried

This picture has nothing to do with this post.  But it sure is sweet, am I right?

I haven't been here much this week.  Or at all, really.  I've just barely checked in with my favorite blogs, I haven't even glanced at my big girl camera, and as I write this I have about 5 loads of laundry calling my name.  I am buried in it all.  The little's school schedule, trying to squeeze in workout time, making meals, racing to the finish of project make something, and trying to get the kiddos in bed at a reasonable hour.  It's been a little... hectic.

I have so much to share here, and I will soon.  I have recipes, projects, thrifted treasure (all the way back from Colorado) and just stories I need to get down here.  So what I am saying is:  I'll see you tomorrow.  Or maybe next week.  I just need to find my rhythm as the seasons change.

  3. I think it's such a challenge for me in part because the new school year starts (hello football! sweaters! pumpkin spice lattes!), but we seem to settle into a HOT weather pattern that makes me feel like spending time at the pool. It makes my brain confused.

  4. That picture is just so scrumptious--they are a slice of awesomeness, those two. So great to see this sib love. I know what you mean about hectic too. I have 2 or 3 crazy days in a row, and then it settles down for a day or so. My wheels are constantly going. But I feel like the count down to fall is on, and just this evening as I was getting a chai tea latte from Starbucks, they told me that the pumpkin spice is baaaack!! So yay--for all the world that loves it like we all do. And like Gloria Estefan said, "the rhythm is gonna get you..." hahaha You'll slip into it. And btw, can't wait to see what fall pictures, recipes, and general cornucopia you'll share with us on here soon!
