That's what they say about March, right? Well, forgive me, forgive me all of you who are sick of snow, but I am loving it. It has been snowing off and on all week here in Mid-Missouri, and I am excited for the prospect of another sledding weekend!
I can get a bit cabin feverish during winter, but this winter in Missouri has been mild (compared to where I am from) so we've been out and playing quite a bit. That being said, I also love to snuggle in front of a fire with a warm cup of coffee sprinkled with cinnamon. I love sinking into a bed piled high with feather blankets. I love my little's pink cheeks from the winter wind. I love that my make something project is ticking right along because of all the indoor time lately. And by ticking right along, I mean I'm about 5% through the list.
I love the snow! There, I said it. I know that everyone North of me right now is ready to wring my neck. Well, you'll have to stand in line while I go grab my sled.
If your winter has been a bit too much of a lion for your liking, then my wish for you is a Spring like a lamb. But not before I get one more romp in the snow, ok? Thanks.
Well. Yes, I may have to kill you now so you better get that sleigh going..! :-D
ReplyDeleteI hope your wishes come true! Sending snowy thoughts your way (as we creep up near 80 degrees over my way!) It will go back down though. Spring has not sprung quite yet. Enjoy the sledding, coffee, and cuddling, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHave a double dose of enjoyment. Better you than me, although, I do miss cross-country skiing. Love your pretty pics.
ReplyDeleteI love the snow too, especially when it's fresh and fluffy... and even more so when I can snowboard in it! We're getting rain, on top of crusty snow. It's unplayable :( Glad you guys are getting some winter fun in!
ReplyDeleteMy passion for the snow is well documented lol. We are currently being snowed upon, but not enough to cancel school. I'm torn. On the one hand, being the equivalent of 3 weeks behind would be rather nasty, should school been closed for tomorrow's anticipated snow. On the other hand YEEE SNOW DAY!
ReplyDeleteThe Things have just entertained us by dressing in their ski apparel and dancing "the snow dance" in the hopes of a Friday off. Is this normal behavior for teenagers? I don't know. But between you & me (and don't tell my students) I'm crossing my fingers tomorrow will find us sledding in the backyard...
I'm glad someone is enjoying the snow Ruthie. How about one more sledding session for you and then no more snow. Are we good? ;)
ReplyDeleteYou should enjoy it! I'd take a few days worth and wouldn't complain one bit! P.S. My Brian's new go-to Saturday night drink is a sidecar! I'll send you a virtual toast this weekend! ;)
ReplyDeleteWe're in like a lamb around here for sure. 60 degrees this weekend! That means we'll have a snowstorm for Easter - go figure. xoxo
