We had the most exhausting, wonderful, fun weekend with our friends! They just left to head up towards grandparents on a long drive from Colorado to Indiana. But we got the pleasure of having them stay a few days, and we played hard. We have bookend boys, the same age with blond curls, and their little sisters that had a blast together, too. My littles were in heaven with all the play and fun, and sad faces are all I see now. My friend, Jo, and I kept telling the kiddos that we were friends when we were THEIR age, as if they would care. But it's amazing to see your children play with your childhood friend's children. It's like a full circle. We can't wait to see them again! Maybe we'll take a trip to Colorado sometime soon...
A special thanks to Brian and Chris for watching the littles all Sunday while Jo and I went thrifting. Oh did we find treasure, my friends. I'll be sharing all that later this week!
We love visits from good friends. It was a happy happy time.
Sounds just perfect - friends through generations! :-)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable & so much fun {you can see it in the littles' eyes}! Can't wait to see what knew treasures you've found--
ReplyDeleteSweet photos of all the littles! So cute together! I love to see what friends' and cousins' kids look like. It is funny when they look exactly like their parents used to.
ReplyDeleteSo cool that you have stayed so close. Looks like everyone had fun and looking forward to seeing what treasure you scored.
