kitchen weekend

We made a quick trip to the local Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, and that sealed the rest of my weekend plans.  I baked 4 pies, made a casserole or two, made fresh salads, and let Rowan eat up half a pint of blackberries.  That last one may have been a bit of a mistake.  So in short, I spent my weekend in the kitchen.  With a brief dip in the pool here and there.  Now I have a lot to catch up on this week!  It's going to be a busy one.  Hope your weekend was great, friends!

  2. Your Farmer's Market looks a lot like our farmer's market! Yay! Caprese salad is just about my favorite thing in the world {along with blackberries}, so good call on both lol~*

  4. I wish our farmer's market were easier for us to get to. That salad looks amazing! I spent tons of time in my kitchen this weekend, which is pretty rare for me! :) Happy Monday!

  5. Four pies! That is impressive- and even more so in this summer heat. Tomato and mozzarella is also one of my favorites. Can't wait for our tomatoes to start to ripen.

  6. I am so impressed with all that you accomplished! I want to get back to baking soon. I guess I'm not as motivated to do it in summer.
