Yesterday I showed you the shirt I finally finished for Fletcher. If you missed it, here it is again!
Well, I also made him a super hero cape! He's been pretty obsessed with everything that Papa seems to love best, and Papa sure does love his Star Wars and super heroes. So Fletcher is a fan of the cape, too. And I made it in the same vein as Superman's cape, but made it a SuperFletcher cape instead.
All hand stiched*. Same story for Darth Vader. Hence taking FOREVER. But seeing Fletcher run around fighting evil villains makes it all worth it.
Now Rowan wants one. Since she is obsessed with Batman (or "Matman" as she calls him) maybe I can make her a Batman inspired cape!
*cape portion cut from a men's t-shirt. loosely based on tutorial found here.
That is so very cute...too cute for words even, but I'll find some. How is he so cute and so big? He reminds me of a character from a book I read where he goes off and fights the "baddies." How adorable. And great job on the hand stitching--wow. He will love that forever! Super awesome super hero!
ReplyDeleteThanks K! Maybe your new little will get one someday, too :)
DeleteThat shirt and that cape are amazing. You definitely need to open that Etsy shop. Super cool! Cant' wait to see pictures of the two of them being superheros. Maybe Brian needs a cape too?
