some exuses

Hey guys.  I have some excuses for not being around here as much as usual.
1.  I've been playing catch up ever since my trip to Arizona last weekend.  Laundry, cleaning, meals, and just hanging out with the littles, who are quite clingy since I left.
2.  I took a million pictures of Karen's little family, so I've been spending a million hours editing them for her.
They're a gorgeous family, no?
3.  I've been systematically making Halloween shirts for every kid I know.  Actually, I wish that I were making them for *every* kid I know.  But I just don't have enough hours in the day!  And if I didn't include your children, just know that I didn't include my own, either.  I'm a great mom, I know!
There's really no end in sight.  I have a few of these shirts to finish, trips to the post office, more laundry, and this will be the first weekend I spend with my husband in 3 weeks.  So you know there will be an adventure there.  A busy, but happy life!  I'm not complaining, trust me.

Does this time of year start a whirlwind of busy-ness for you like it does for me?

  2. The pictures are gorgeous. And they are indeed a lovely family. They will no doubt cherish the photos. The shirts are amazing too! I know what you mean about catching up. Trips are great, but the family is still making work for you while you are gone! :)

  4. Beautiful Pics! I know Karen loves them. Remember, Moms never catch up and laughter is what keeps you from going over the edge. Love you.

  5. I LOVE what Cathy cricket said! I am always inspired by both of you! Like mother, like daughter. You're right, moms never do catch up, and we lose precious time with our loved ones if we always had every chore completed. Thanks for the reminder, now what was I doing...?

  8. Love the pics - and yes, too much to do but less energy than usual. Maybe I´m coming down with something OR I need more vitamins..!

  9. Obviously, I am in love with the shirts (LOVE!), and I am being very picky as to when I will allow these messy little children of mine to wear them. I think they will be our pumpkin patch outfits this year. :) I'm also considering not putting them in the clothes until we are PHYSICALLY AT the pumpkin patch. I cannot afford a freak barf or rogue poo to tarnish the cuteness you have created.

  11. Those little shirts are adorable! I might need to do something similar for my little niece. Maybe if I start on a Christmas one now, it'll be done by Christmas 2013?!
