falling for fall

I love pretty much everything about fall, if I didn't mention it before.  Crunchy leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, hot apple cider, cooler days... sigh.  I do love it.  Even though the highs are still in the 70s and 80s here in South Carolina, the nights get nice and cool, and I can feel the fall in the air.  I will miss the intense colors of the leaves back home, but there are plenty of sights to keep me happy right here.

Like Fletcher and Gigi peeling apples and making pumpkin spice cookies!

Fletcher turned into a candy corn after eating half the bag while decorating the cookies.  True story.

Pretty wreaths on pretty doors.

Cold mornings with hot coffee.

Beautiful fall colored bouquets send as housewarming gifts (thank you again, Karen!)
and beautiful fall colored roses that Brian brought home for me.

Pretty leaves in our own backyard!

Mums, my favorite fall flower.

And of course, lots of these!

What's your favorite part of Fall?

  1. This is a fall catalog spread! I always say it, but it's true; what a talent you have! And an eye for translating the beauty of simple things onto film! Great autumn snapshots. The only thing left to include is a picture of Fletcher sitting waiting for the Great Pumpkin like Charlie and Linus.
